![]() ![]() It was all handled with the author’s constant humour yet the strong need to acknowledge boundaries and safety was there too, which I respect hugely.īrie finally admitting to herself that maybe she’s caught the feels for handsome werewolf Felix is adorable, and his tail wagging like a puppy when she caves just cracked me up. That said, there was still a lot of emphasis on consent as Brie was concerned for Felix being under the influence of the love potion, despite him being absolutely sure that she was his fated mate, and Brie only started to accept that jumping into the sheets might be their only option when she thought there might pose a danger to him if they didn’t. The romance is top tier and the smutty scenes were written incredibly well, yet still fitted the dynamic of the couple, which is sometimes where I feel these books slip up. ![]() ![]() I’ll start by saying don’t be fooled by the cartoon cover this book packs some spice in it. I read the first one last year during the time when I was taking a break from blogging, but as always my review will be spoiler free. I deliberately saved this book for when I was feeling a bit low, as I knew it would make me laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes… and I was so right. ![]()
